When I ordered this kit, it said it would be at my door in 3-5 days. In 5 days, it got shipped. So, 6-10 days after I ordered, it showed up. The body was fine. Couldn't use the neck as it had a severe right to left bend, looking from heel to top. After contacting company I had to buy another headless neck online !!!

This is my first experience with a headless bass. This was also my 1st kit started, but 2nd completed. After prepping the new neck and body, I sprayed a nitrocellulose finish of HotRod red on the body, and black on the back of the neck. Then gloss clear coats over all. I used the kit headpiece, but upgraded the bridge to a Guyker Headless bass bridge. I put in active EMG 35P4s, with an LHZ-04 preamp, with volume, blend and concentric treble/bass cut/boost. I squared off the corners of the pickup routes to accept the EMGs. I extended the control cavity route to put in the pre and battery. I designed and had a friend 3D print a front strap extender bar, and installed Schaller S Lock strap locks !!!
