I've always loved the classic Explorer shape, and this kit did not disappoint. The flamed maple top looks great, and the whole build was super straightforward with the bolt-on neck. All the chrome hardware fit right out of the box, no issues at all.
I gave it a custom finish and those dual humbuckers sound mean — perfect for the hard rock and metal I play. Everything showed up well packed, no dings or missing parts. Super fun project, and the end result plays way better than I expected for the price. 100% recommend.

Bought it to mod it!

I purchased this kit to tweak the shape. Trimmed the tail and the lower horn. looks cool to me. Neck needed some massaging, but to be expected. Green and black dye on the flame maple top and black dye on the back and neck. locking tuners, bone nut, Alnico V pups CTS pots, winged scull tailpiece, all black trim. Thank you Pango!
