Dear George,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the price difference between our PAG-002 and PAG-008 4-String Acrylic Body Electric Bass Guitars, as well as other distinctions between the two models. We are glad to provide a clear explanation below.
To address your core question first: the number of pickups is not the sole determinant of our model pricing. One significant cost gap comes from the PAG-008’s high-grade rosewood pickguard, which has a far higher material cost than the pickguard used on the PAG-002.
Beyond this, each model’s price is set comprehensively based on multiple factors, including component specifications, circuit design, manufacturing labor hours, and market demand & sales performance.
As the largest acrylic body guitar manufacturer in China, Pango Music offers the industry’s most comprehensive lineup of acrylic body guitars and basses, with ongoing R&D to continuously update and launch new models while upholding strict quality standards.
Please rest assured that we provide full end-to-end support throughout your entire purchase journey. We will always respond promptly to all your inquiries, and take full responsibility for any product quality or shipping issues to ensure they are resolved to your complete satisfaction.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Best regards,
Alice
