----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Order number in our store: #10684
Product: Flying V Style DIY Electric Guitar Kit (PFV-637)
Price: US$198
Shipping fee: US$25
Total Price: US$223
This video creator/purchaser purchased and received this guitar kit from our store. Upon receiving it, they noticed that the bridge and tailpiece holes were not pre-drilled—which aligns exactly with the product photos on our listing.
His terrible video:

Regarding the bridge and tailpiece holes, we have included a specific note on our store page as follows:
NOTE:
1. For this kit, we will offer you 2 kinds of tailpiece. if you want us to drill the bridge and tailpiece holes, pls tell us which kind tailpiece you will use.
2. If you only need the guitar body and neck, i.e. a no hardware version, pls tell us, we will adjust our stock for you.
After receiving the kit, the buyer only mentioned that they were unable to drill the bridge and tailpiece holes and then demanded we send them a new guitar body—this request was unacceptable, as there was no issue with our product. However, in the spirit of fostering a long-term, positive partnership, we still offered a solution: we could issue a partial refund. If they were unwilling to accept that, we proposed they return the kit, and we would provide a full refund.
Our solutions:
1. A partial refund
2. A new guitar
3. A big discount for next order
After some time, he contacted us claiming there was a small wood grain irregularity or a crack on the fretboard. In response, we proposed a new solution: we would provide him with a brand-new guitar neck, and he would only need to cover the shipping costs. It’s important to note that such minor wood imperfections have no impact whatsoever on the guitar’s performance or structural integrity.
Instead, the buyer responded with extremely rude and threatening language in emails—all of which we have documented. They refused to trust us, opened a PayPal case, and PayPal instructed them to return the kit to us, with the return shipping cost to be covered by them. Shockingly, this individual then provided falsified shipping information on the PayPal case page.
To make matters worse, when we emailed him to inquire why he had added a fake return tracking number to the PayPal case page, he claimed that PayPal had advised him to provide "temporary" shipping information. Let us be clear: we have been using PayPal as a payment method since 2013, and we are thoroughly familiar with all PayPal policies. His assertion is utterly absurd and unfounded—we have never heard of any such practice.
To verify this, we even reached out directly to PayPal’s official support team to investigate the matter. They confirmed unequivocally that PayPal has never, and would never, advise anyone to submit a fake "temporary" tracking number.
Notably, this buyer failed to provide any valid return shipping information for the entire duration of the PayPal dispute, right up until the case was closed. We have retained complete records of all email correspondence with this buyer, which fully document his responses.
We have always stood firmly behind our products and strived to do our best for every customer. All business is built on communication and respect. This buyer (or video creator) showed no respect for our service or products. They have continued to post fake, malicious, and defamatory reviews on our store, YouTube, and Instagram.
It has been over two months since he received the guitar kit, yet they have not started building it. Their video lacks any professional judgment; they merely shared photos everywhere, attempting to incite others to slander our products and services. We will not remain silent.
This buyer call us “total scam”, so we want to ask this buyer some questions:
1. It has been two months since you received this electric guitar kit. There is no professional comment in your video at all; you merely played around with our product, accompanied by a disgusting background music, and the subtitles and texts used are extremely offensive!!!
2. You refused to accept our solution, made videos to threaten us, and even gloated over our misfortune which you made. What's more, you tried to claim rewards from our video reward program by this terrible video, which is utterly disgusting. This has aroused great public anger, and many of our partners, friends, and fans have strongly demanded that all your emails be made public.
3. The customs duties you paid for receiving this kit have nothing to do with us. We have made a reasonable declaration within the reasonable scope. It is absurd of you to repeatedly mention in your emails that we should cover this cost as part of the compensation.
4. It is basic common sense that the body and neck of each kit are adapted! We will send you a new neck as a replacement, but you need to have professional knowledge to make the adaptation. However, based on our understanding of your professionalism, you do not have this ability. Therefore, we gave you a professional explanation, but you even made fun of this in the comments section under your video, which is extremely ignorant and unprofessional.
5. You spent US$198 for this PFV-637 guitar kit, now you told us that you spent US$187 to repair the neck fret issues. As a professional and responsible company, we can pay that and want to solve this issue peacefully. So far, you have not provided any proof of payment. We have asked you for this payment evidence many times! (This buyer has demanded $94 in compensation from us, yet has failed to provide any evidence to justify this payment. What’s more, it’s crucial to note that he went so far as to create a malicious video in which he baselessly labeled us a "total scam." Who is the "total scam"?)
-- Official Statement --
We formally state our binding after-sales policy as follows: We bear no liability for any third-party repair services or related costs without our prior written approval. Verified product defects will be addressed with a formal solution via our official after-sales channel. If you are unsatisfied with our solution, you may return the product for a full refund. We will cover return shipping fees, and the full refund will be processed promptly after the product is received and inspected at our warehouse.
We reject all unsubstantiated compensation demands and will not tolerate malicious defamation of our brand. All legal rights are reserved.
All the photos provided below were taken by the buyer of Order #10684. Please review them carefully and identify the issue at hand. It is important to note that this product is a DIY guitar kit—not a finished guitar. It requires assembly and painting, and no such processes have been completed yet.
With that in mind, what conclusion can be drawn from the act of inserting a business card into the fret slots? Is this intended to prove that our frets were improperly installed? Or to claim that our craftsmanship is subpar? To "repair" this – if such a repair is even necessary – would cost US$187?
In our 35 years of operation, our records show that we have encountered this type of claim only 2 or 3 times. The buyer of Order #10684 is one such case. Several years ago, another buyer attempted to insert a razor blade into the gap beneath the fret slots (for similar unsubstantiated claims).

6. You have posted malicious and false comments everyday everywhere on Facebook, Instagram, and our website. You are attempting to spread rumors and incite people on Instagram to post false comments and remarks on various forums, slandering our brand and reputation. and we have retained all relevant evidence.
The following words are just part of what you stated in that appalling fake video of yours:
“Since the publication of this factual video, I have received numerous emails containing threats or attempts to pressure me, as well as repeated phone calls (up to three within two minutes). Their messages are often contradictory, if not outright misleading. They have also begun sharing isolated excerpts on social media, taken out of context, and intentionally emphasizing secondary details to divert attention from the core issue. For reference, over 40 emails have been exchanged to date.”
Even after you labeled us a "total scam," we still wanted to help you and resolve this matter peacefully. That’s why we attempted to have a serious phone conversation with you, we only called:
3 times on July 22th, 2025, and you didn’t answer.
3 times the next day—no answer.
2 times on July 23th, 2025--still no answer.
So you’re free to spread fake videos, malicious false comments, and reviews everyday and everywhere, but we can’t even reach you by phone to ask why?
(Yes, it’s practically every single day—our store is bombarded with his rude, mean, and utterly disgusting reviews. Meanwhile, he’s been demanding we pay US$94 for repairs related to the fretboard issue, yet our support team has continued to assist him and respond to all his emails with complete professionalism.)
We’ve responded professionally to every single one of your emails. Are these 40 emails also a problem for you? We have retained complete records of all your emails, as well as the malicious fake comments and reviews you’ve posted across our websites, Facebook, and Instagram, but to protect your privacy, we haven’t made them public. All these comments and reviews are deeply mean-spirited, rude, and unprofessional. If we were to make all these vile, malicious false comments and reviews public, we’re confident you would regret ever writing them. Our company strictly safeguards all customers’ privacy and has never disclosed any of your personal information. However, if you persist in spreading such false and malicious remarks, we will be forced to release all email records—with your personal details redacted—to set the record straight.
All the above statements are true, and we take full responsibility for every word we have said.
We’ve sent the link to this article to the #10684 order buyer. If there’s anything inaccurate or misleading here, please feel free to share your full perspective and leave any feedback in the comments section below.
We welcome all comments with an open mind. Your thoughts and feedback will appear directly at the end of this article without prior review—we believe in transparency, and your voice matters.
Guess what? We actually shared this article link with the buyer, yet he hasn’t been able to leave any comments here. Instead, he keeps posting malicious fake feedback all over our store every few days. We’ve been trying to stay polite, but it seems this person has lost all reason—all because he couldn’t get the $94 compensation he demanded for his $198 guitar kit. The malicious fake feedback he left on September 26, 2025, is in the end.
Final Note to the Buyer of Order #10684: we have always been committed to resolving this issue peacefully—yet our efforts have seemingly been a waste of time.
In fact, we know exactly what this buyer is after: he is demanding US$94 over the so-called "fretboard defect"—and he has no real intention of having it repaired anyway. After all, what he claims is a "defect" is merely normal fretboard grain; it has zero impact on playability or structural stability, and therefore requires no repair at all.
Had he communicated with us professionally and respectfully, we would have gone out of our way to assist him—just as we do for every customer. Instead, he rejected all our proposed solutions and even mocked our professional explanations with his own ignorance, he opened a PayPal dispute, but ultimately lost it, as he failed to get the money he claimed or anything. Finally, he opted to create a malicious, threatening video filled with falsehoods, and even went so far as to label us a "total scam."
The key point here is this: we will never succumb to threats of any kind!
Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the French thinker and writer (Order #10684 buyer must know him better than we do), once said, "Resentment is a bag of dead rats, and it's best to throw it far away."
"The world is like a vast makeshift setup, but we can still try to make it better." This is what we said, and we want to share it with every reader!
